LOOK 986 with Mountain rings and Turn crank Top view of an M35 BB
M35
The Praxis M35 Platform BB System (patent pending) is available to our OEM customers looking to the next level.

First things first... THIS IS NOT A NEW BB STANDARD...but rather a BB system that fits in Press Fit 30 and BB30 frames.

The M35 employs a 35mm inner diameter bearing in a shell that is a similar size as BB30 and PressFit30. However, this new inner diameter not only provides unrivaled stiffness but also allows for the use of a carbon fibre, titanium or light weight aluminum for the crank spindle. Add to that we put bearings outbound of the frame for a wider stance which takes the rigidity of this system to even higher levels. It can be used for Road or Mountain crank applications.

The M35 offers many advantages over current 30mm systems : Ease of installation, bearing alignment & wear, greater rigidity, and overall ease of serviceability. With all the different bottom bracket standards currently on the market, frame manufactures have had tough decisions on which way to go. Since the M35 systems installs in both a BB30 or PressFit 30 frame, and is easily convertible for Shimano compatibility, the decision just became a whole lot easier.
  Apparently, size does matter.
With a 35mm axle in place, rigidity is taken to a higher level. The transfer of power to the pedals has never been so direct. 35mm diameter also opens the door for light weight materials to be used for the crank spindle such as carbon fiber and titanium. Yep, think of the possibilities.
  Plays well with others
Its simplicity is its genius. We designed the M35 system to accommodate and work with other standards in the industry. Not only does it fit in both BB30 frame and PressFit 30 frame, but it is compatible with Shimano cranks with the use of a small adapter. This makes the M35 one of the most user friendly BB/Crank systems available on the market.
*Available only for OEM customers.
Easy in, Easy out, and always in perfect alignment
Have you ever tried to remove and service a BB30/PF30 bottom bracket? It's not the easiest task, to say the least. We think servicing a bottom bracket should be simple, clean, and fast. That's why every M35 will come with a tool for installation and removal. The tool uses either a socket wrench or a 15mm wrench. No more circlip headaches, bearing/frame tolerance issues, and no more damaging bearings during removal. It's just easy in, easy out, and the M35 Aluminum cartridge keeps the bearings in perfect alignment for long lasting wear.
