SUMMARY - This is an exciting sales and service position in a dynamic small team environment in our Santa Cruz office. This person will be asked to perform a wide range of tasks; Inbound/Outbound sales, call schedules, account management, technical support amongst others. This position requires someone with a range of skills and an appetite for learning and growth.  Salary position with health benefits - Salary level commensurate with experience

Location: Praxis Works HQ in Santa Cruz, CA

Position requires:

  • Background: 1-3 years’ experience in supplier, retail, or other vendor sales.  Bike Shop history/background preferred
  • Must be able to work a varied full-time schedule between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm PST-Monday-Friday
  • Excellent communication, organizational, customer service diplomacy, time-management, and prioritization skills
  • Positive and friendly attitude with ability to function in a dynamic small office that is growing quickly
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • This is a proactive sales position that requires a high level of interaction with dealers and consumers on the phone and email/chat corispondence.
  • Potential small amount of travel to industry trade shows required. Ex. Sea Otter, NAHMBS show and others.
  • Knowledge and passion for bicycles and who can identify nuances in bicycle performance and different drivetrains.
  • Understanding of Quickbooks Interface, Google Docs/Sheets and other office software preferred, but not required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required.

Inside Sales Rep

ALWAYS LOOKING FOR :

WAREHOUSE LEAD

SUMMARY : We are looking for a warehouse super star to keep Praxis pumping.   This is critical position within our team as if the warehouse isn't shipping, Praxis products aren't getting to our customers.    Picking, pulling, packing, shipping, receiving, processing web orders, dealers orders...all of the above.  This position works close with our Inside Sales team and Operations Manager.  Salary position with health benefits - Salary level commensurate with experience

Location: Praxis Works HQ in Santa Cruz, CA

Position requires:

  • Dependable and Reliable | Full-time schedule between 8:00am to 5:00pm PST-Monday-Friday
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills
  • Take the lead on shipping and receiving unloading trucks.
  • Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
  • Inventory, data entry and computer skills will be required for Fed Ex/ShipStation/Quickbooks. (We can train)
  • Positive and friendly attitude with ability to function in a dynamic small office that is growing quickly
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and package/repackage products.
  • Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
  • Will be required to help with a variety of other jobs including things such as Online Store Admin, packing some products for sale and interaction with Will Call customers.
