HISTORY
The Santa Cruz Mountains are steeped in road riding history. To honor it, we named our top-level crank Zayante, after the fabled redwood-covered climb so-named – secret training ground for many local pros.

Made exclusively in our own carbon lab, the Zayante is a home grown product from start to finish. From initial napkin sketches, to rapid prototyping, revision after revision, exhaustive testing and certification for production. Developed and made In-House with our own hybrid "C.R.A.F.T." carbon manufacturing methods...all done by our dedicated team, all Praxis, all for you.

Today bikes need to tackle not only smooth roads, but also beat up gravel and every so often, side routes with plenty of cobbled up pavement. The Zayante and it's direct mount interface can easily tranform from 2X or to 1X with just 3 bolts. So whatever your ride route or need may be...Build it up as you please and how you want. It is modular and does everything equally well.

If you have a Praxis M30 crank, then your existing BB is already compatible.
If your current Praxis M30 crank does not have a removable spider, then you’ll need a 1mm drive side dust cover in lieu of the 2mm cover already installed.
You need a Praxis M30 BB to install this crank.

Weight.
The Zayante Carbon is lighter than the Carbon S.
This weight savings is achieved via the chainrings and chainring bolts only.
The crankarms between the Zayante Carbon and Carbon S are identical.
In order to use this crank as a 1x, you can purchase the crank arms separately. (Located at top of drop down menu).
Then you’ll then add a 1DMX ring.

Praxis warrants components to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 2yrs after original purchase to the original owner.
