2YR PRAXIS WARRANTY

Praxis Works warrants these hard goods to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 2 years after original purchase date to original owner. Life expectancy depends on factors like frequency of use, environmental conditions and intended use.  It is important to periodically clean/wipe down, and inspect your drivetrain parts.   If you ride in bad conditions like rain/mud/snow, you must do this immediately to keep the drivetrain/bottom bracket clean and free of water that could be sitting inside your frame shell.  Please see Wear and Tear info below.

WEAR AND TEAR -  This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear parts.  Wear and tear parts are subject to deterioration as a result of normal use.  Failure to inspect according to Praxis Works' recommendations, and/or riding in harsh weather conditions can and will speed up deterioration.

Wear and tear parts/items are as follows:

  • Normal BB bearing degradation over life of product
  • Anodizing wearing off over life of product
  • Chainring teeth and Cassette teeth degradation over life of product
  • Bottom bracket Seals (outer and inner) degradation over life of product
  • Rubber O-ring for frame width variance
  • General corrosion over time

Specific Bearing info:

  • STEEL -Sealed Steel cartridge in all stock Praxis BBs –  No bearing warranty.
  • CERAMIC -Sealed Ceramic cartridge in any Praxis BBs –1 year Enduro Warranty against defects in workmanship or materials.

WHEELS/RIMS -  CRASH - Praxis does provide for low-cost repair or replacement of RIM damaged in a crash or other non-warranty situation for original owner during this 2 year period.   Contact Praxis with form below.

LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY : This warranty only applies to the original owner and is not transferable. Claims under this warranty must be made through the AUTHORIZED PRAXIS WORKS RETAILER where the Praxis Works component was purchased. Original proof of purchase is required.  This warranty does not apply to products incorrectly installed and/or adjusted according to the respective Praxis installation instructions/owner manual. The Praxis tech manuals can be found online at www.praxis-works.com. Failure to use correct installation or removal tools will result in damage not covered by warranty. This warranty does not apply to damage to the product caused by crash, impact, abuse of the product, or unusual installations resulting in subjecting the product to excessive forces or loads beyond its design.This warranty does not apply to damage to the product caused by crash, impact, abuse of the product, or unusual installations resulting in subjecting the product to excessive forces or loads beyond its design.

This warranty does not apply when the product has been modified. Any and all modifications to a Praxis Works  product voids warranty.
Under no circumstance are the costs of shipping to or from Praxis covered by this limited warranty.

 

USA CUSTOMERS
PURCHASED FROM BIKE SHOP - Please contact the bike shop where you have purchased your product. With the original bill of purchase, the store will be responsible for the warranty and contact Praxis Works.

PURCHASED FROM PRAXIS WEBSITE - Please contact our USA service team via the form below with your Order Number.  Praxis will review and issue an RA# for all warranties.  Do not send any items back until issued RA# from Praxis.  Shipping back defective items is the responsibility of the claim holder and is not reimbursed by Praxis Works. An RA# must be issued by Praxis Works.   Please use the form at the bottom of this page to open a Warranty inquiry.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS 
Please contact the bike shop/retailer where you bought your product. With the original bill of purchase, the store will be responsible for the warranty and working with their Praxis distributor.   Please note: every country follows different regulations on warranty so please inform yourself about the regulations in your country.
